Fun With Frames
It's time for another QC Challenge!

For the Spring Challenge, we're having Fun With Frames.    Not just any frames, but frames with a theme.   You've seen them -- they might be seasonal, or for a specific occasion, or just plain cute.   You've seen them in the craft stores, discount stores, dollar stores and even in thrift shops.

The challenge is to use a theme frame with a quarter inch scale project.

Questions:

Can I put a regular, plain frame around a scene and qualify for the challenge?   No no no, we'd never make a challenge that easy.   The frame has to be part of the scene, or at least a complement to the scene.  The frames for the challenge are more than just squares or rectangles or circles or ovals.   There are some examples in a photo album on our Yahoo site called
"

I have an idea for a scene, but I can't find a frame to coordinate with the idea.   Can I embellish a
"

"
frame?   OK, that you can do!   That's part of the creative process.   But just adding a sticker or paint or something won't qualify --- you have to work for it!

Does the frame have to be
"
around
"
the scene?   No, it could be a backdrop or even the base of your scene.   Did you see the sample frame with shells on it?   Wouldn't that be a cute base for a beach type scene?   You get the drift ...

The challenge starts March 1.  Photos of your entry need to be in the
"

"
album no later than June 1.  There will be a random drawing for prize winners!
